They only have a five year age gap in the novel.  The actors in real life's age difference is more than eight years. In the Drama Series, the gap seems a little wider, but I believe that the actors have great chemistry.

This Romantic Drama about three couples(there are actually five couples featured here, but only three had lots of air time) has mixed reviews, but I join the ones who love this.  The main couple(OTP)'s story is beautiful.  Towards the end(I won't tell you how, but I'll spoil it a little) you would find out that they are meant to be.

The handsome dog, Qibao(Seven Treasures), a golden retriever, is some kind of matchmaker or reunion instigator.

I had a light feeling after watching all the twenty-four episodes, but honestly, there were a lot of unnecessary parts for me.  

Hmm, but isn't life full unnecessary moments, regrets, and all that jazz?  One reviewer said there were scenes that didn't make sense.  Well, there are lots of things in life that do not make sense as well.

Still, even if I am justifying those scenes, I really hate that they had to add that thing about that actor...but Xinxin said (not in those words) that it's a blessing in disguise.

The second couple's chemistry, at least for me, was very evident when they were lost in the field on the way to the amusement park where the fireworks were going to be "displayed".  Their extra beautiful moment was with the deep blue marine microbes(nope, they were not underwater---if in Kleun Chewit they were in a sort of deserted island in Thailand with blue tears bio luminescent sea, here, the two who experienced this similar phenomenon were aboard a yacht in China).  It was scientifically "magical".

I would love to learn about what happens next to Shao Zui(he's so ruggedly handsome) and Ji Qui(the third couple).  The comments on WeTV were shouting "child abuse".  Excuse me!  It's definitely not.  I hope there's a spin-off or a second season focusing on their story.

Would I watch this again?  Yes!  :-)

For me, Zhang Ya Qin, the young lady who plays Qi Nian, has lots of similarities with my little "sis"(well, maybe not so much in this photograph)

My mom and dad watched it and loved it then, but I wasn't really interested in watching it.
