Just a little "note" before I REALLY start.  There are parts in this drama where LIN YU SHEN(LU JIN) speaks great English like a local of one of the 50 States of America, but there are parts where he speaks English in a Mandarin accent.  Oh, and by the way, many of us, girls and women and our sisters from another gender,  fancy Lu Jin for his voice and masculinity, even if many of them call him "sugar daddy".  LOL. They, ROSY ZHAO and him,  are nineteen(19) years apart in real life, but in the story, Gu Shengnan and Lu Jin are ONLY fifteen(15) years apart.  Even if that is the case, they have G-R-E-A-T chemistry!  They should have other projects together.

I finished this drama in three days because I did other things in between, but I wouldn't mind binge-watching this if I was just lounging around.  Honestly, if the things I did weren't necessary, I would have been glued to the screen until the series ended.

The story is pretty interesting.  Yes, it is a no-brainer that the two leads would end up together, but how?  What would they have to undergo before being together hopefully forever?

In this version there are times when I wanna finger flick the female lead on the forehead because of her decisions, but I love that even if she's not a perfect person, she fights for what she believes in, including her love for Lu Jin who loves her so much.  I have a thing for movies and TV series with the male character falling in love first, as long as he is NOT obsessed with the female character to the point of being creepy.  His love for her is simply beautiful and he is not afraid to show it to "the world".  There were lots of unnecessary scenes, but all in all, it's a love story that makes me giddy all over.

ZHAO LU SI or ROSY ZHAO who plays GU SHENG NAN, the female protagonist, is such a sweet actress who looks so innocent, but when paired with the right partner, she could be so sultry too.  I first "met" her in I HEAR YOU and if I loved her portrayal of Bei Er Duo, I adore her here.  As aforementioned her chemistry with Lin Yu Shen is great. Their kisses could bring you to cloud nine, even if, let's say, you were just an innocent bystander. (I am currently watching THE ROMANCE OF TIGER AND ROSE, and I must say that she still has that innocent look(her costumes are not so innocent looking), but she can pull off romantic scenes like she was born to do it.

Of course, this story is not purely romance.  There's the story of great friendship too.  I must admit that during the early parts of the series I wasn't quite sure if these two friends of Gu Shengnan(Nan Nan) were really great or what, but later on they proved that they are good people.

Family relationships, the business world of the 财宝

(Cáibǎo) and other types of businesses, scheming "other parties", et cetera, et cetera, but of course, my favorite "here" are the culinary delights prepared by Chef Shengnan.

I still have a hangover.  I guess I'll drink some "honey water". LOL.  

Will I watch this again?  Definitely.  First Part 10/10 (rewatch value) Second Part?  Hmm...

It's still pretty wholesome anyway, so I am wondering why they cut it short on WeTV
