Minor spoiler alert:  Mr. Gu falls for Zhou Jian Qing(QingQing) first.  The girl is oblivious to his feelings for the longest time for he is a control freak. In return she mocks him, but then she also starts to like him little by little. 

There were lots of funny scenes. He tried to confess, but she couldn't hear him. He tries to confess again, but she thinks he's playing with her.  He tries again, but she thinks it's a drunk confession.  Sigh.

Before you get mad at me for "spoiling" those for you, don't.  That's not even the tip of the iceberg.  There's more to the story than that "spoiler" alone. Believe you me, after the 20th episode, I am sure you are going to be pleased with the next scenes, but Jiang Jing Xuan and Zhang Yin would not be so happy.  Never mind, Gu Nan Zhou's mom would be.

The chemistry is undeniable between the two leads, but when I was watching this through WeTV someone was having the second lead syndrome.  Well, whoever said that, I must say that he's not really a leading character, but he is really into QingQing even before Mr. Gu returned(they were childhood playmates) into her life, dramatically. QingQing is so clueless about this.

This drama also reminds us that not all mothers-in-law to be look down on their future daughters-in-law.  Mr. Gu's mom loves her son so much, and she adores Jian Qing/QingQing.  She was so happy to help her son "get her" to be her daughter-in-law(another minor spoiler).

Oh, for those who have not seen this series yet, you might be wondering why Jiang Jing Xuan, who, according to QingQing, morphs from a hypocrite person to a kindhearted one back to a hypocrite person seamlessly, wouldn't be happy.  Well, she has been having a one-sided love affair with Gu Nan Zhou(yes, only in her dreams), and she keeps on playing tricks. Good thing QingQing is not stupid, but she is so childish most of the time.  I don't really like Jiang Jing Xuan's tricks(Well, who does?).  Thankfully, they backfire, but not before traumatizing QingQing.

I'm so excited also for QingQing's brother, Zhou Zi Xuan, and her best friend, Su You Xia.  I think the next episodes would show how their characters would develop their feelings for one another.  At least it's sort of, kind of, "happening" already(there's a special scene for them in episode 20... Oops I better stop, but I must say they have a strong chemistry.

I got so excited for Nan Zhou and Qing Qing when  I saw a long kiss on YouTube(WeTV ytchannel... BTW, you can also find the 3-minute clip on WeTV's exclusive clips) and I waited for it to finally happen. I am so sad to report that the shorter version happened on episode 21, but no worries, the story is still getting to be more exciting by the minute.  I just hate that the cliffhanger and the next episode don't seem to connect at times...like when Mr. Gu says he'll be responsible, but in the next episode the exact opposite happens.  Oh well, but I still love this series very much.

I won't say anything more lest I really spoil it for you dear readers.  Until the next episodes.
