At first I wanted this to be an open diary, but I changed my mind. I've decided to just write about SOME of the things I've watched, not necessarily in chronological order. I deleted some of my PERSONAL entries already. :)

Based on the novel of the same name by Dong Benxi Gu, “My Little Happiness” is a 2021 romantic comedy directed by Yang Longwho also directed A LOVE SO BEAUTIFUL(I mention this because this is one of the famous Chinese Dramas/Romantic Comedies in the Philippines).
It was also very realistic for the characters who do not have time to change, and those who left their pampered lives to prove themselves.
fFROM MY DRAMA LIST
I did not want to watch this series at first. When I looked at the posters, I just didn't feel the chemistry, not because they did not look good together, for they do, but maybe because in PUT YOUR HEAD ON MY SHOULDER(PYHOMS), DADDI TANG/TANG XIAOTIAN's role, FU PEI, was not so good to this drama's first female lead(1/2 of the OTP---this drama has two main couples, but only one couple is the OTP, redundant, I know, because OTP means one true pair) during the first part of the series. XING FEI/FAIR XING played Si Tu Mo/Mo Mo there. Even if I didn't blog about it, I liked the story. Themale protagonist(LIN YI as GU WEI YI) there is so adorable, even when he seems stoic(LOL). I love the way he loves ONLY MO MO. 💜💜💜💜💜
Sigh.
Back to My Little Happiness...
I'm so glad that I changed my mind. Thank goodness for the review above.
There's one thing I noticed. I have yet to see a movie or a drama series where Fair Xing plays opposite some who is not making her look like a midget(well, this is only the second drama, but...). Daddi Tang is 1.88 m or almost 6'2" feet. Fair Xing is 1.64 m or 5'5" feet. Lin Yi is 1.87 m
Cong Rong and Wen Shao Qing (minor spoiler---we learn about this during the FIRST episode) are childhood sweethearts who had to part ways, so they promised to marry each other once they see each other again.
When they do see each other again, they do not recognize each other. They sort of have a "meet cute". Well, it's not really cute, but they helped save an old man in an airport.
Shaoqin finds out about her identity first, and instead of telling her about their past, he did all his best to make Cong Rong know his feelings, to the point of making Cong Rong uneasy(creepy stalker feels...wataoji in Japanese...maybe not oji---they are supposed to be the same age... Bukimina sutōkā is the literal Japanese phrase...in Chinese it's longer:Lìng rén máogǔsǒngrán de gēnzōng zhě). A guardian angel type person is great, but when you don't understand the motives, you would really freak out, so I understand where Cong Rong is coming from.
When they fall in love and become public in the hospital, everything becomes alright even with Cong Rong's mom, so you would wonder why the story did not end at episode fifteen. In earlier episodes, a handsome character from her days in Australia(Melbourne to be exact, but she tricked her mom with "scenes" from Sydney) is introduced to us...you can make a lucky guess what his role would be in the second half of this drama.
The second couple (Zhou Cheng Cheng(Huang Yi Lin/U. Lin Huang) and Wen Rang(Leon Li)) sort of shines in the second part of the drama more than the OTP.
I am not dreaming of a second season like most of the viewers, but I would want to learn a little more about Attorney Shangguan Yi and Attorney Xiong Jing Jing. A spin-off, perhaps?

"The Silent Majority is an accomplice to the villain..."
Daddi Tang Xiaotian as Wen Shaoqing "Wang Zengqi said man should eat food with a wider range. (mentioned the basic tastes) For him, everything there: the water, the food and the people(including doctors, of course), is infused with the simple joy of life." (they were talking about pickles---hehehe---that's not the exact quote)
There were lots of amusing and distracting comments on WeTV. They mentioned about forgetting to close the door(bahala na raw yung aso/security care of the dog etc.) because...; cost cutting(because of repeating the clothes usually not in sequence); they don't take a bath because it's cold(LOL); forgetting to serve the water for a long time(law office)...of course they also mentioned the "kilig" moments between the two pairs(others called the kissing scenes between the OTP "mukbang" LOL), especially the second couple(the chemistry between the ML's uncle and the FL's best friend).
When I am using the mobile phone, I find those comments distracting, but when I am using my MacBook, I find them amusing. Hmm...I wonder if someone said "illegal use of medical supplies"? in those comments. I didn't notice. Well, there were a lot of comments that made sense anyway, like when there was this boy trapped during the earthquake, but because the doctor and the lawyer missed each other so much they almost forgot the boy so the ones who made comments made jokes about the scene...I know it's not a laughing matter, but "first do no harm" "go save lives" before anything else, right?
Oh, before I forget, some of those who made comments called Zhong Zen "the best cousin". 😁

From MyDramaList.Com Screenwriter: Park Ji Hyun Director: Lee Min Soo The scene here proves that Cha Woo Sung is conflicted, and that Lee Hyeong-Cheol is really immersed in his role...Of course, Ha Hee Ra is wonderful too There's this thing we call Bida/Kontrabida(a hero who is also a villain...a protagonist who is also an antagonist) in the Philippines. That's how I describe Cha Woo Sung. He is a Bida/Kontrabida. This is a very intriguing tale of love and revenge...yes, a global topic from time immemorial, but thankfully there are still many things that have elements of surprise. I am not yet done(Besides doing other things, I am watching shorter programs before finishing this...not because I am bored, but because I want to savor the moments...I pity Bae Sarang when someone made her pee in her pants. She was really, really scared). There are a total of 108 episodes in this series. I will write more about this after I'm done with all 10...
