Before this one I watched LOVE IN TIME where Lu Bo Yan is very endearing. His heart belongs ONLY to Su Jia Nan, but Su Jia Nan is a very selfish person that makes me wonder if all his love for her through the years is worth it. I am still mentioning it here because it is one of those series where the parents of both parties are so loving. The others I have seen this "season" are not even worth mentioning at all.

Perfect and Casual: A Hidden Gem
I am not going to write a review anymore. I put a link above that voices most of my my opinions, but I must say that this is one of my favorite dramas/romcoms. Yes, it may not be perfect as a drama/romcom, but it is very entertaining and I love the leads and their story. They have great chemistry. I was amazed to find out Xu Ruo Han who plays Yun Shu is a newcomer, and this is the first time she plays the leading lady. She's very good. A natural.

- Wei Zhe Ming/ Miles Wei as Zhang Sinian, a math genius who thinks everything is can be equated. He is cold and stiff at first, but when he falls in love with a girl who is his exact opposite, he is very sweet. He is also a very loving grandson to his very sick yeye.
- Xu Ruo Han(first time lead actress) as Yun Shu. She meets Zhang Sinian during her senior year "accidentally" inside a Cafe then later on finds out he's her Statistics Professor. When the times comes for her to make her defense for her thesis, she was late for almost a minute(she followed his unsolicited advice to invest in real estate), so he did not allow her to defend it, delaying her graduation for another year.
- Dai Yun Fan as Lu Yu, Sinian's best friend. He is a popular actor...a matinee idol.
- Zhao Luo Ran as Gao Zhiyi(Yiyi), Yun Shu's best friend
- Ma Ge as Yun Lan, Yun Shu's sister, her only family left in this world. She is a lawyer.
- Sheng Gang Shuai as Lin Nuo, Yiyi's ex-boyfriend and Yun Shu's buddy
- Ma Zi Ming as Gu Xiao, Yiyi's boyfriend (I am actually team Gu Xiao, but...)
- Qi Sheng Han as Meng Ran---the second lead actor or the rival of the male protagonist. He is one of the few friends of Sinian and he was also his classmate. He asked him for a favor so that Yun Shu wouldn't have to do menial labor. He falls for Yun Shu, and decides to pursue her. This is one drama where I don't find anything endearing about the second lead. He's not really a bad person, but he uses unscrupulous ways to TRY to get what he wants.
- Sheng Lang Xi as Lin Chuchu, Sinian's former classmate, a person who is in love with Sinian, She tells Yun Shu that she kissed Sinian when they were younger. Sinian thought it was just a courtesy kiss so he never considered it as a first kiss. She's not a bad person.
- Cui Ke Fa as Grandpa Zhang, the matchmaker. Hehehehe. In all seriousness, he's Sinian's loving yeye who
- Ran Qian as Gao Mei, Meng Ran's client whom Yun Shu helps. She also becomes Yun Shu's boss when she pursues her lifelong dream as a cartoonist.
- Chen Shuang as Professor Shen Lan, Sinian's colleague who is undergoing the pains of divorce
- Zhou Jing as Xia Lin, a nurse who has a thing for Lin Nuo
- Cao Jun Hao as Feng Qi
- Deng An Qi as Lawyer Lu, a person who preys on ignorant ladies(for money)
- Miao Yi Lun as Han Rong, Yun Lan's client who hates Lu Yu
- Zhu Bai Long as Professor Wu, Sinian's colleague
- Li Jin Feng as Doctor Zhang, grandpa Zhang's doctor. He's an oncologist(I think)
- Shen Wen Jun as Yun Shu and Yun Lan's father
- Li Chang Jiang as Huo Qi, Yun Shu and Yun Lan's scoundrel of a cousin
- Wang Bin as Brother Tu, loan shark, Huo Qi's creditor
- Zhou Jiao as Xi Xi's Lu Yu's manager
