At first I wanted this to be an open diary, but I changed my mind. I've decided to just write about SOME of the things I've watched, not necessarily in chronological order. I deleted some of my PERSONAL entries already. :)

I am guessing that this is classified under fantasy because they live in another dimension(they are not wearing masks in 2020, and no physical distancing... If it's because of the mechanical heart, then the more appropriate genre is science fiction, right? ).
Watch on WeTV-Update every Mon-Wed at 8PM (2EP/Day) VIP Update 6EP in Advance (right now, VIPs can enjoy 12 episodes. Next update is Monday, 3 May 2021)
Actor: Allen Ren Xing Fei Wayne Liu Zhao Yihuan Ge Shimin Jun Sheng
Gu Chuan had a serious car "accident" and his heart was damaged(but couldn't get a transplant as explained in episode 2). So a doctor planted an artificial(mechanical) heart but he can never live an ordinary life like normal people. Gradually he lost his passion in life. Ten years later, Gu Chuan tried to accept his abnormal self and look for hope but failed every time until he met Jiang Xiaoning who is optimistic and energetic despite her miserable childhood. By getting along with each other, Gu Chuan was influenced by Jiang Xiaoning, finding a new way of self-identification and also helped Jiang Xiaoning fulfill her dream.-Basically From WeTV
Both the male lead, Gu Chuan(Allen Ren), and the female lead, Jiang Xiaoning(Fair Xing), were in a tragic "accident"(2010) together, but they part ways and do not see each other for a long, long time.
They cross paths again after ten years(2020) in a bakery that was about to close due to financial loss...the owner is a good man, bless his kind heart, but they did not recognize each other...then later on Gu Chuan becomes the boss of Jiang Xiaoning, and it's very interesting how she becomes his assistant.
They used the same actor as the older Gu Chuan, so the age gap is not so evident(according to a viewer he even looks like ten years younger than his real age...Allen Ren is already married and he has one child).
Xing Fei(Fair Xing) and Allen Ren only have a little more than a five-year difference in real life. In the story, before the "accident" happened, Gu Chuan was already engaged to be married(his former fiancée appears again in episode 12), so they probably have more or less a ten-year age gap.
When Xiaoning talks about her parents without mentioning how they pass on, she would mention that she was fourteen years old then(the young lady playing her is very pretty---I will try to find out who she is). When he starts to have feelings for her, and gets jealous with a guy from the university Xiaoning was taking up Architectural Design(something like that), he asked his best friend's opinion if his style is appealing to the younger generation. Well, we Asians look younger than our actual ages...probably not all, but most of us do, so maybe casting him was perfect. I really wouldn't know. There's another guy he is jealous of, a guy she grew up with, and his best friend's godbrother.
To tell you frankly, at first I couldn't imagine the chemistry between them, but when they got together as boss and assistant, little by little I saw what the casting director saw in them. They are simply beautiful and awesome together.
This series has a lot of perverts and predators(especially that VILLAINOUS Mr. He---the actor is so good because I am so mad at Mr. He. Argh! Douchebag! Dirtbag! (Ang tanga naman ni XiaoNing(sobrang bait kasi), but I guess no matter hoe intelligent or wise a person is, things like that happen---binigyan tubig ang lasing muntik tuloy siya marape(the guy's innermost thoughts are horrid---well, on her defense, she didn't know the drunk guy was Mr. He---- Plus that Mr. Ouyang(YanYan's client) (Argh---plus, plus, plus---including YanYan's boss---argh), I noticed, thankfully not all men(or women) are like that in this series(may mga matitino pang taong tao sa parallel universe(it's 2020, but it seems like the characters her did not experience the pandemic)). To add to the misfortunes of the leads, there are conspirators and instigators. Argh%#$%^*##!!!! those people!
Genres:Romance, Fantasy, but let's add Science Fiction :-).
We have to take note of the genres, right? Like what I mentioned above, it's 2020, but they are not affected by the pandemic. He has a mechanical heart, and like that melodramatic Unexpected Love/Love Unexpected or whatever it is called, she's seemingly the only one not affected by his "powers". Some WeTV viewers called him Iron Man/Tony Stark, for obvious reasons. Others asked why he wasn't given a heart transplant instead(?), but during the second episode, the answer was given.
The episodes are quite exciting. It's nice to live in a world where there is no Covid, right? Plus I admire the police woman and Zhao Yan for being a strong and courageous women(there are scenes where Zhao Yan's convictions are quite confusing) .
👪👪👪👪
I love Xiao Ning's aunt, cousin(?)/best friend(Zhao Yan), and grandma. I just hate it when NingNing gave ManLin Chuan's address(feeling close ako---LOL).
Gu Chuan wears gloves like Wei Qing(About is Love) and Queen Elsa(Frozen) when his heart rate is in the RED 'zone'
The amazing gargantuan rose bouquet(Xu Cheng Ren's gift to Zhao Yan) is so beautiful. As long as they will only be roses, then I would be fine(hehehe), and hopefully there wouldn't be any thorns. 😂😁😊
Festinger's Theoryproposes that inconsistency among beliefs or behaviours causes an uncomfortable psychological tension (i.e., cognitive dissonance), leading people to change one of the inconsistent elements to reduce the dissonance or to add consonant elements to restore consonance. (Gu Chuan mentions this to Jiang Xiaoning, when she was blaming herself too much)
Sigh.
Oh, by the way, my least favorite character is the older Mr. XU. ARGH The one next to him is the ingrate brainwasher, SU Man Lin. DANG it!
SIGH...
Maybe I should end this blog entry now. I'll probably post another entry about this after the 24th episode, but as early as now I know that this is going to be one of my favorites. Well, it already is.

From MyDramaList.Com Screenwriter: Park Ji Hyun Director: Lee Min Soo The scene here proves that Cha Woo Sung is conflicted, and that Lee Hyeong-Cheol is really immersed in his role...Of course, Ha Hee Ra is wonderful too There's this thing we call Bida/Kontrabida(a hero who is also a villain...a protagonist who is also an antagonist) in the Philippines. That's how I describe Cha Woo Sung. He is a Bida/Kontrabida. This is a very intriguing tale of love and revenge...yes, a global topic from time immemorial, but thankfully there are still many things that have elements of surprise. I am not yet done(Besides doing other things, I am watching shorter programs before finishing this...not because I am bored, but because I want to savor the moments...I pity Bae Sarang when someone made her pee in her pants. She was really, really scared). There are a total of 108 episodes in this series. I will write more about this after I'm done with all 108 episodes. I wish I could
