WeTV International Title: About is Love(sic) IT'S ABOUT LOVE (2019)

Thank goodness for this review that I didn't drop this drama because honestly, I was really pissed with the Male lead up to the middle of the 11th episode, so I searched the net for reviews.  Thankfully, it turns out that she is right, and I agree with everything she said, especially that last swimming pool scene:

Mental anguish is what I suffered because of the tricks of the male lead. His tricks weren't funny at all, just because he wanted her not to get rid of him! Argh.  This person!  I hated the way he smirked when he was power tripping. I was getting angrier by the minute, so I wondered why this was given high ratings by different groups.  I searched for legit blogs, and I found that one on top. So I waited for it to be a "hidden gem".  Thankfully, it happened. I found out that it is indeed a hidden gem, but Yan Xi's role almost always smirked or scoffed until the end, but thankfully he has lovable scenes, and you would also pity him, especially when his mom bluntly states that she hates him.  The mother hating the son is the most terrible thing in the world.  I know a mother who calls her handsome son "Ugly!" and this affected the self-esteem of the poor kid who is now a family man.  You could expect other people calling a certain person "Ugly!" or "The face only a mother could love."  Argh!  My blood boils every time I think about it. My goodness!  He was eighteen years old when it happened.  Yes, eighteen is already an adult in most countries, but for a person who felt neglected by his parents...

There were timeline discrepancies, and some other stuff that did not make sense, but I did enjoy it as a whole.  

The friendship story here is great, and even the two other couples were worthy to root for and watch their love grow.

BTW, I guessed about the brother when someone said something like "Have I met you before? Do you know ____".   It was confirmed when during one of the flashbacks the younger version of the brother did something about his hair.  I said, "Aaaaah!" 

There's a sequel coming in the near future called MAYBE IT'S LOVE(The trailer is a parody of The Sword and the Brocade, I guess--hehehe), so I guess I am going to watch that first before anything else.

There's a scene in this series when Wei Qing meets a beautiful dermatologist and she explains to him about certain types of people with regards to secretion, et cetera.  She also opened his eyes and heart about something.  I love that scene.
