Those pandemic "taped" K, C, and Indonesian Dramas and masks (2021)
Sigh. I really don't get it. The actors are giving or trying to give a "good example" by wearing masks in those K, C, or Indonesian dramas, but when they are close to people they know they lower the masks to show who they are, perhaps...then what's the point of wearing masks in those dramas?
I think the lockin tapings are better...the cast and crew get tested...when they are negative, they push through with the tapings, then they don't wear masks at all because it's either they are in pre-pandemic or post pandemic or in a parallel universe or something.
I love your dramas(I really enjoy them), and I believe your countries really follow the protocols and all, but I am just wondering out loud why the actors pull down their masks when talking to a friend, vendor, or whoever in certain scenes) in public places.
Example(scene from a K Drama)1:
People are seen on the street all wearing masks, then a certain person sees a friend, then both of them put their masks down. Then they are not even far apart from each other. All those droplets... Sigh.
Oh well, I really hope this pandemic would be over soon. Please, Lord(or universe, whatever you believe in).
Another scene: 2 men with black masks attached on their faces, but the masks are down to their chin. They are very close to one another. They are tailing a woman who is wearing her mask properly. The camera focuses on them. They talk...one of them notices the hair and the skin of the other. They touch each other's faces because according to one the skin of the other is getting smoother...and the hair of one person is getting thicker. The woman manages to get away from their sight. Oh well.
Masks are a simple barrier to help prevent your respiratory droplets from reaching others. Studies show that masks reduce the spray of droplets when worn over the nose and mouth. You should wear a mask, even if you do not feel sick. -source
