Sex in the City where The Devil Wears Prada is how I would describe this series.

Morality aside, I really liked this series.  Emily and I may be worlds apart, but she's very relatable.  Her feelings, struggles and choices show that she is very human.

LILY COLLINS is beautiful as Emily.  She could have studied French before going to France, but maybe, due to time constraint, she just bluffed her way through. Well, it's easier said than done, but in her world she should have always been prepared, even if she didn't expect to go to Paris.  On the other hand, if she did come prepared, then it would be a different story, wouldn't it?

The people around her in the office are also very interesting.  They are rude, indeed, but they grow on you.  She also grows on them.

Then there's this Crazy Rich Asian called Mindy(ASHLEY PARK) who is a French-speaking Nanny in Paris who becomes Emily's friend.

Emily has more than one lover here, but of course, it's Gabriel(LUCAS BRAVO), the very handsome Chef, who is the apple of most of the viewers who prefer men in this series., myself included.  ;-)

One of my friends was raving about him and Rob Lowe(HOLIDAY IN THE WILD) in one sentence, and my being a Rob Lowe fan since the 1980s got me pretty interested.  My goodness, he was likened to him, so he must be... 😅 🔥 💯  It turns out, he really is!

Emily in Paris is also a travelogue, and of course a foodie delight.  It's not for everyone.  Dad enjoyed the first three episodes then he got tired.  As for me, while waiting for the second season(please, please, please), I wouldn't mind watching it again(but at the rate I am going I think it'll take a very long time before I do).
